Tank Stars is as a turn-based 2D tank shooter that features crazy tanks with a wide range of artillery. Upon starting, the game teaches you the basic controls such as moving, aiming and shooting.

Tanks with devastating weapons are under your control. You need to make quick decisions as you face off in turn based combat. You are given a small amount of fuel every turn so you can move forward or backward to get into a better position. And use the right joystick to control the power and angle of your attacks. Precise shots and proper weapon choice will spell the difference between blowing up your enemies or getting blown up. Tank battles have never been this fun. There are different tanks to unlock and each with loads of deadly weapons, perfect for annihilating your enemy.

Starting with the ABRAMS tank, you will have arsenal of rockets at your disposal. ABRAMS is well-rounded in my opinion and easy to learn as you have access to the Big One that has small blast radius but big damage, Shotgun that has small range but deadly in close range, Volley that launches a barrage of cannon shells, Splitter Chain launch 2 missiles that split up, Vertical slam automatically locks on to your enemy as it passes it and Air Strike that drops missile barrages at a targeted location. As you earn gold, you can purchase other tanks that have different styles of attack such Frost that uses ice attacks, Helios that uses fire attacks, Spectre that uses electric strikes and many more. The basic premise of the game is going head-to-head against other tanks, taking turns dishing out damage. Each tank will have 6 different attacks that can only get reloaded after you have used all 6 attacks. Matches are played on randomly generated fully destructible maps. There are random drop crates that get parachuted from time to time that contain ever more powerful weapons such as Nukes that are deadly on direct impact and Fire Pillars that deal huge area damage and a lingering fire damage over the impacted area.

Precise hits are necessary to win matches but getting the right angle and power is challenging since some weapons may displace your opponents. Tanks can be upgraded to improve their HP to add more survivability. Weapons can also be upgraded to add more damage or range to their attacks. The only way to upgrade tanks and weapons is by acquiring enough cards needed by the upgrade. Cards can be acquired by purchasing chests in the shop or by opening chests after finishing matches. There are 4 game modes to choose from.

You can practice against the computer to improve and learn the different tactics needed to use a new tank, play on the same device against a friend as you take turns controlling your tanks, battle against other players in Online PVP mode, and finish challenges to gain chests in Tournament mode. Overall, the game is addicting with a bit of time needed to practice making those precise shots. The randomly generated fully destructible map adds more challenge to game.
