Dec 17, 2014  3DS, PC There's a purity to Xeodrifter that I really admire. The 2D action exploration game is brief, but Xeodrifter explores its simple, well-executed mechanics to a T. It takes the best elements. Xeodrifter is a fun and competent Metroidvania-style game, but it doesn't do too much to make it feel special. There are 4 different levels/worlds to explore, a handful of abilities/upgrades to gain through boss battles, and a fair bit of entertaining exploration and hidden health and gun upgrades to be found.
