Subterfuge Game
Subterfuge is a new mobile game by Snappy Touch, which is described by the developer as a week-long multiplayer game of strategy and diplomacy. And when the company says games last for a week, they mean it – everything happens in real-time as you gather intelligence, confer with your fellow players, issue orders, and do much more. In all, every move you make in this game influences what happens going forward, and Snappy Touch says you have to master both strategy and diplomacy to come out on top.Aside from the developer’s remarks, we also should tell you that Subterfuge takes place in an aquatic setting.
I haven't really gotten into subterfuge yet, but Outwitters is absolutely brilliant! I really like the highly tactical nature of this game. I haven't purchased the upgrade yet but I still feel like I can compete with only the basic version. I advise you to give it a few plays before making your decision of whether to keep it or not. Subterfuge - A week-long mobile game of strategy and diplomacy. (Android, iPhone, and Games).
This is one of those titles you really have to play extensively to get a feel of it. Don’t let that daunt you, though, as we’ve compiled a list of useful Subterfuge tips, cheats and strategies that could help you do as the game says and master strategy and diplomacy.
How To Monitor Who’s OnlineThis is actually a very simple, yet important thing to do when playing Subterfuge; you have to keep a close eye on everyone. Take note of when your opponents log in and when they aren’t playing. Check if somebody’s online, because if two or more are online at a given time, they may be talking to each other.
There are myriad things to keep track of in this game, but you have to. This information, simple as it may be, could be gold to your alliance. Another Reason Why Keeping Tabs Is ParamountIt’s also important to know when your opponents go offline because launching a sub to attack one of them may take 10 hours to complete. As the average person sleeps about eight hours a day, it’s good practice to launch such an attack as soon as they go offline; once they wake up, they may not have enough time to recover from your attack. Keep Yourself Scarce For StartersAlthough, the temptation to build a mine immediately to get off to a fast start will always be there, it’s actually better not to. Early alliances may be broken early on, and you wouldn’t want to be too weak financially once you’ve spent a good number of drillers on your first mine.
It is possible to build that mine, though, but it’s only recommended if you’re able to strike up a funding deal with another player to give yourself protection, and if you refrain from attacking anyone else in the meantime. Rely On Your Specialists, But Don’t Just Hire Them ArbitrarilyThe game does have some specialists that are capable of being game-changers. If you use your specialists right, you may just turn things around in your favor. But you have to make advance plans for hiring specialists or promoting someone; that way, you can allow them to mesh well enough with your current team or counter the chemistry your opponents are building up.
Also, you should consider your needs before hiring specialists for your alliance. Take stock of your battle plan, whether you’re more of an offensive strategist or someone who’d like to focus on defense and production instead.
When I found out about the game, over a year ago, I immediately downloaded it and realized that it was a game for me. A game with intense tactics which you don't have to be playing constantly but just check a couple times a day. But now over a year passed and I still can't get started to it. I have completed the offline tutorials, not with ease, and now am just too scared for an online game. It seems so complicated and I don't seem to have grasped every concept.
I just feel like I will get destroyed and won't know what I will be doing in an online game. Considering I have struggled even on the tutorial, I don't know what should I be doing. Maybe some of you guys have an advice or a source for me to better learn all the concepts? Thanks. 1) Dont trust anyone (but don't let them know that)2) Act like you trust everyone (when speaking to them)3) If someone is moving a lot of forces away from you they're either under attack or they trust you.
You can either join in the attack and probably destroy them as they'll be double teamed or offer to ally with them if you have an opportunity to engage their attacker (or you could feed them more troops). This will (probably) result in an alliance which a lot of people like to keep.4) Learn about what specialists are the most useful and what combos best together. This is critical. If you hire a saboteur first hire instead of a smuggler you may as well just wave.Lie, cheat, steal, backstab, trust, ally, betray.
Doesn't matter if you lose. You'll learn from it and be better for next time. I've only played the 14 games but have 11 wins & 2 third place.
Rocky legends xbox 360 games. It's been 6 months since I last played though.each time I played was 7-10 days of frequent checks of what was happening, keeping in touch with 'allies' or putting myself into a position to make deals with those who weren't.Logging in regularly also stops people from working out your sleeping / work schedule and launching attacks during those times. I take notes on everyone who is away for more than about 6 hours to work out a pattern after a few days to see if there's opportunity for a sneak attack.Thankfully, I have young kids who wake me up in the middle of the night, so I will log in quickly to reset my offline counter timer (and have a quick look at whats going on).I'd love to play more, but I'm too competitive and it was a massive time sink. Plus the more I won the more I wanted to maintain that record. Those two third place finishes were also extraordinary for different reasons.
Was definitely within reach of winning those as well. Then there was one game where I was double / triple teamed from the very beginning and was wiped out pretty quick.Gah. All this reminiscing of those games makes me want to play again. Thanks for the reply. These things definitely will be helpful to me.Learn about what specialists are the most useful and what combos best together. Is there any place where I can find these combos, or do I have to experiment with everything?Lie, cheat, steal, backstab, trust, ally, betray. Doesn't matter if you lose. You'll learn from it and be better for next time. And this is what makes it a great game.
I will try to do all of these and make sure to be having fun instead of trying to win. A week ago, maybe? I just jumped right into a multiplayer game, and we're down to 5 players. I should definitely be top 3 here. The tactical puzzles are just that, puzzles. I've had one scenario in the whole game where I had to play it like a tactical puzzle. Otherwise, the strategy is pretty basic.
The rest is diplomacy. At the start of the game I just messaged everyone I bordered 'Hey, are you going for xyz?' Or 'Hey, I see we're going for the same outpost, I'll gift you these units.' The most important part to starting an alliance is opening a dialogue. At the start, you'll probably have to give some stuff up. I didn't launch a single attack for 3 days, and I was giving away drillers left and right. Making yourself appear useful is how you don't get murdered. It's fun, it's stressful, it's diplomatic.
Just hop right in.
